In aging, as in all parts of life, there are always lessons to be learned. With at least 60,000 Minnesotans turning 65 every year now through 2030, we need to be ready to face aging together.

What should we know?

Watch as a Minnesota senior, her daughter and her caregiver share three things they’ve learned about aging.

Since the release of this video series, Mary, the senior featured in these videos, has passed away. Her family has graciously allowed us to continue to share these powerful videos to help raise awareness about how the rapid growth of Minnesota’s senior population affects all of us and to encourage more Minnesota families to have the conversations they need to face aging.

By 2030, 25% of Minnesota adults will be age 65 or older, so we need to work together as families, leaders and communities to help Minnesota age well. We hope the videos will help inspire conversation in your own family and community.
