May is Older Americans Month, a time to celebrate the many ways seniors have helped build our families, cities, industries and quality of life. Their dreams, hard work and love have created a legacy we now enjoy – and they’re just getting started. As Minnesota’s aging population grows more rapidly than ever before, older adults are an increasingly vast resource of wisdom, time and talent.
By 2030, 25 percent of Minnesota’s adult population will be 65 or older. We must ensure all Minnesota seniors get the care and services they need to age well in the communities they love. Our elders helped us live the lives we lead today – what can we do to help make sure their golden years are good years?
